A portion of the 1855 Jefferson County map, showing portions of Brownville, Orleans and Pamelia. The Anthony Farm, at that time, was alone in the corner of Pamelia bordering Brownville and Orleans, not far, as the crow flies, from the farm where John Dixon was born in Orleans.
