1. WILLIAM BECK, son of JOHN ANTHONY BECK (born in Germany) and MARY 
NELLIS (born in NY of German ancestry) was born c1770 in NY, probably 
in the Palatine (Montgomery County) area. Occupation: gate tender.

He married (1) October 27, 1811 in Palatine NY 

MARIA SCHULTZ, daughter of JOHANNES J. and ELIZABETH (SUTS) SCHULTZ,
was born Feb 2 1792 in Palatine NY.

Children, BECK: 

    2    i     PHIBI BECK

    3   ii     ANTHONY BECK 

    4  iii     ARON BECK 

    5   iv     MARIA MARGARET BECK

    6    v     EMI BECK

    7   vi     WILLIAM BECK married NANCY DILLEN

He married (2) c1830

PHOEBE GOODENOUGH, dau of JOHN and PARNELL (KEENE) GOODENOUGH
(both parents of New England/English ancestry) was born c1807 in 
Copenhagen NY.  Since FRANKLIN HUDSON BECK was born in LaFargeville, 
they lived at one point in the Town of Orleans.

           daughter of ANTHONY/Antoine CADEUX and MARY ANN (COOK) CADY

   12    v     FRANCES R. "Fanny" BECK b c 1847 NY
