PIONEER CARPENTER FAMILY


1.  JAMES CARPENTER was born about 1803 or 1804.  About 1825, he lived in
Rutland, VT.   Moving to the Town of Rutland in Jefferson County, he had
a farm on the Rutland Hollow Road. He died 30 May 1848 in the town of
Rutland, Jefferson County, aged 45, and was buried in Black River.

He married before 1829
