Boynton is listed as LEVI'S son in letter from LEVI'S grandson Dr. Eugene Chapman dated 1909. He appeared on the census in 1840 in Henderson, Jefferson, New York, USA. He appeared on the census in 1850 in Ellisburg, Jefferson Co. with wifeLUCY A., sister BETSY (age 21); children FRANCIS A. (8); JULIA E. (3)

SOBRINA (---) who was b 1807 and died 1840 Henderson, Jefferson Co. Buried Henderson, Jefferson. 1830 census lists a 20-30 yr. old wife and a daughter under 5.

    2    i      BETSEY CHAPMAN b 1829 Ellisburg, Jefferson Co. Betsey was living with Boynton in Ellisburg; in 1850 census. 1st seen as daughter under age 5 in 1830 census.

    3   ii     WILLIAM CHAPMAN b 1831 Ellisburg, Jefferson Co.d 1839 Henderson, Jefferson, bur Henderson, Jefferson Co.

    4    iii    (daughter) CHAPMAN b bet 1835 and 1840 Ellisburg, Jefferson. 1840 census for Boynton lists a daughter under age five.

LUCY ANN EASTMAN, who died 1889 in Jefferson Co., New Yorkand was buried Sackets Harbor, Jefferson, New York. She appeared on the census from 1900 to 1920 in Watertown, Jefferson, New York, United States. living with daughter Anna and family
