1.  ELISHA CROSBY was born c 1781.  The 1810 census shows ELISHA CROSBY in
Jefferson County in the Town of Adams.  By 1820 he had moved to the Town of
Henderson, where he bought land.  He died 25 Jul 1846 at the age of 65 and 
was buried in Union Cemetery, Adams Center, Jefferson County.

He married (1)

SALLY or SARAH (---), b 1786, d 4 Aug 1834 at the age of 48 and is buried in 
Union Cemetery, Adams Center.

Union Cemetery, Adams Center.


2.  SAMUEL CROSBY (son of ELISHA and CHARLOTTE (---) CROSBY) was born
c1802.  He was probably in Town of Adams, Jefferson County, with his parents 
by 1810.  The 1835 state census lists him as a head of household in Adams, 
living next door to CHARLES GREEN.  In 1835, CHARLES GREEN and SAMUEL CROSBY 
built a sawmill on the brook flowing through Green Settlement.  By 1840 he had 
moved to Oswego County.  He died c1855.

He married 25 Dec 1834

LUCRETIA GREEN, (daughter of CHARLES and AMY (SHELDON) GREENE.  She
was born 24/27 Jul 1816 at Green Settlement, Adams, Jefferson County, and 
died 29/26 Aug 1897 at the age of 81 years and 12 days, at Adams Center.  
She married (2) 23 May 1861 MYRON CONKLIN at Chatfield MN.  She lived at 
Springvalley, Fillmore County MN in 1891.
