IRA B. HALLADAY

Union Soldier - Distinguished Service

Ira B. Halladay, single, age 25, enlisted on September 1, 1864 at Hounsfield, NY into the186th NY Infantry, company B. He was honorably discharged on June 2, 1865. Ira was born 1839 in Elgin, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada, the son of Anson Miller and Marillah (Blodgett) Halladay of Elgin, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada. He died April 7, 1888 in Elgin, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada.

He is buried in Halladay Burial Grounds, Elgin, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada.
