DIES OF OLD WOUND
Jerome Prame of Lowville, Veteran of 94th Infantry, Passes Away.
Lowville, Aug. 29.--The death of Jerome Prame occurred Saturday evening, at his home on River street, in this village. Mr. Prame bad been in failing health for a long time, but bad been confined to the house only about two weeks. Death was caused by a gun shot wound received in the Civil War, which led to Bright's disease.
He was 65 years of age. He was a member of G. D. Bailey Post, No, 200, G. A. R., and was enlisted in Company C, 94th Infantry. He gave good service in the war and took part in 29 battles.
Besides his wife,one daughter, Miss Mildred Prame, survives; also four brothers, Martin Prame, George Prame, and Gilbert Prame of Lowville, and Richard Prame of Deer River, and two sisters, Mrs. Ward L. Ramsey of this village, and Mrs. Norton Babcock, who resides in Connecticut.
Funeral services will be held from his late home Tuesday at 1 p.m.. Rev. Lester G. Simon, paster of the Baptist church officiating.
