PIONEER DIEFENDORFF FAMILY


1.  DANIEL H. DIEFENDORFF, (probably son of HEINRICH and ANNA MARIE (LIPE)
DIEFENDORFF) was born 1807 in Montgomery County, perhaps Town of Minden. 
He died 1880 and is presumed  to be buried in Guffins Bay Cemetery, Town
of Brownville.  He is believed to have emigrated to Perch River area
c1840. 

The following children migrated with parents from Montgomery County:

    2    i     JACOB KELLER DIEFENDORF married ELIZABETH NELLIS,
               daughter of JOHN PETER and ANNA CATHARINE (NELLIS)
                              NELLIS.

    3   ii     ANNA MARIE DIEFENDORF married ELIJAH BELLINGER, 
               son of DAVID B. and MARY (NELLIS) BELLINGER

    4  iii     ALBERT DIEFENDORFF

    5   iv     HENRY S. DIEFENDORFF married ?KATE BAUDER, perhaps
               daughter of LUDWIG and CATHARINE (---) BAUDER.
