PIONEER HITCHCOCK FAMILY


1.  BELA HITCHCOCK, (son of BELA and (---) HITCHCOCK) was born 11 Sep
1793.  He was a soldier, having enlisted in the regular army.  He died
about 1834

He married

LYDIA WILLIAMS (daughter of ISAIAH and (---) WILLIAMS) who was born 11 Jan
1785 at Pownal VT.  She married (1) (---) BARTON.  She married (2) BELA
HITCHCOCK.  She married (3) JOHN VanALSTINE.  She died 16 Apr 1868 at
Henderson.

Children, HITCHCOCK:

    2     i     ABIGAIL LONSBERRY HITCHCOCK married SYLVESTER FINNEY

    3    ii     ANNA HITCHCOCK married GEORGE KILBY, 
                       son of A.E. and (---) KILBY of Carthage

    4   iii     JOSEPH HITCHCOCK married (1) JANE WILSON; 
                                         (2) SARAH BARTON

    5    iv     OLNEY HITCHCOCK d.y.
