1.  AMASA HUNGERFORD was born 1749 at East Haddam, Connecticut.  Although he 
never came to Jefferson County, some of his children did so.  He died 1792 at 
Pownal, Vermont.

6.  AMASA HUNGERFORD (son of AMASA & ELIZABETH (SEELYE) HUNGERFORD)
was born 4 May 1781 in Pownal, Vermont.  He came to Jefferson County from 
Bennington County, Vermont in 1810 and settled at the locality now known as 
Hungerford Corners southeast of Henderson Bay.  He built a frame house in 1817.  
The Hungerford farm has several times, in the days of the first Jefferson County 
fairs, taken the first premium as the finest farm in the county.


11.  ORRIN HUNGERFORD (son of AMASA & ELIZABETH (SEELYE) HUNGERFORD)
was born 23 Oct 1790 at Pownal, Vermont.  He died in Henderson, Jefferson County NY.

He married 23 Oct 1811

ABIGAIL MORGAN was in Jefferson County by 1817 when her son HARVEY was born here.
