PIONEER JENKS FAMILY


 
1.  THOMAS JENKS (son of BOOMER and ANNA (KING) JENKS) was born
6 Feb 1783, at Marlboro, Windham County, VT.  Thomas doesn't appear in
Jefferson Co., census till 1830. He is in the 1810 and 1820 census for 
Jefferson County under the name of Thomas Jinks.  He died 14 Nov 1876, 
Spring Prairie Twp., Walworth County, Wisconsin and is buried at the 
Hickory Grove Cemetery in Spring Prairie.

He married

LYDIA HERREN, who was born about 1786 in Vermont.  She died 10 Oct 1855
and was buried in Sandy Loam Cemetery, Town of Pamelia, Jefferson County.  
All of the following Jenks spouses, except for Lavina, wife of 
Thomas Clark Jenks, were residents of Jefferson County.

    9  viii   LYDIA B. JENKS married MYRON CLARK
