1. HENRY POST was born 1774 in Germany. He settled first in the Town
of Rutland, and in 1860 he lived in the Town of Pamelia. Henry died Aug 28
1862, probably in Jefferson County, and was buried in Walton St
Cemetery, Alexandria Bay.
He married
MARY MAGDELENA (___), who was born c1784 in France. She died after
1860, probably in Jefferson County.

2. BENJAMIN POST (son of HENRY and MARY MAGDALINA (---) POST)
was born in 1819, Montgomery County, NY. He was a farmer. BENJAMIN
and AMANDA POST owned a farm on Wellesley Island in the Town of
Orleans. Benjamin died 1897.
He married Mar 23 1844,
AMANDA MELVINA WAGONER, (daughter of JACOB PETER and CAROLINE
(ABEEL) WAGONER) who was born Sep 14 1818, Montgomery County NY,
She died 1893.

6 iii MARY AMELIA POST married WILLIAM ORLANDO BENNETT
3. JOHN POST lived in the Town of Rutland, next door to his parents in
1840. He died after 1844.
