1. SAMUEL RESSEGUIE was born on 28 Nov 1800 in Northampton, NY.  *With his
newly married wife Mr. RESSEGUIE removed to Houndsfield, making
the journey with a yoke of cattle, and spending seven days on the way,
their road being indicated by "blazed" trees.  They settled on a farm of
50 acres which, by industry and economy, had been increased to 220 acres
at the time of his death.  He died on 21 Mar 1853 and is buried in Sulphur
Springs Cemetery, Jefferson Co.

He married in 1822

LYDIA BROWN who was born cDec 1800 in Saratoga.  She died on 8 Jul 1882 or
1883; and is buried in Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Jefferson County.
