1. SOLOMON TRACY was born in Connecticut.  After marriage, they moved from 
Connecticut to Vermont, where several of their children were born.   
Then they moved their family to Ellisburg, Jefferson County, NY.  

He married 

CORNELIA/CAROLINE MOTT

Children, TRACY:

+     2    i    CALEB TRACY married SUSANNAH COLVIN


2.  CALEB TRACY, (son of SOLOMON and CORNELIA/CAROLINE (MOTT)
TRACY) was born in Vermont.  After marriage, they moved to
Ellisburg, and raised their family there.   

He married 

SUSANNAH COLVIN, daughter of
          Titus and Anna (King) Colvin

Children, TRACY:

+     3    i     JOSEPH F. TRACY married HANNAH THOMPSON BEMIS


3.  JOSEPH F. TRACY, (son of CALEB and SUSANNAH (COLVIN) TRACY) was
born 25 Dec. 1820 at Ellisburg.  He and his family left NY [supposedly with the
Mormons] and moved west; so apparently  Levi and Mary Bemis also were headed 
west, and the Tracy line moved on to Oregon.  The next three generations 
were all born in the Drain, Douglas co., Oregon area.

He married in Ohio

HANNAH THOMPSON BEMIS, daughter of LEVI and MARY (THOMPSON) BEMIS
and granddaughter of BENJAMIN and OLIVE (BALDWIN) BEMIS of Ellisburg
