On the evening of the 19th, at Zion Church, Pierrepont Manor, by the Rev. Wm. Paret, WM. HAWKINS HILL of Terre Haute, Ind., to SARAH EVELYNE PIERREPONT.

At the residence of the bride's parents, in Evans Mills, by Rev. D. Simons, Mr. J. M. COMSTOCK, to Miss S. C. SIMONS, daughter of the officiating clergyman, all of Evans Mills.

Died:
At her residence in Brownville, very suddenly, of abscess of the liver, MRS. ZERVIAH CROUCH, in the 74th year of her age. She was a daughter of Elder TIMOTHY POOLE, and was a member of the Perch River Baptist Church for over 50 years. Her funeral was attended at her residence and the sermon was by Rev. Mr. Matteson.

At her father's residence in this village, on the 18th inst., of consumption, SARAH M. AVERY, in the 25th year of her age.

In Carthage, on the 18th inst., of consumption, Hon. SAMUEL J. DAVIS, in the 54th year of his age.
