At the Jefferson Co. Poor House, Sept. 7th, 1861, Mr. PETER WILCOX, age about 70 years. He was for many years a resident of the town of Rutland, in this county, where he raised a family of children, all of whom, together with their mother, have died before him and left him to resort to the Poor House in his old age for the support and care which he needed.
