In this village, on the fifth inst., of consumption, MRS. ARDELIA C., wife of Mr. SPENCER A. WEAVER, in the 22d year of her age, daughter of R. D. RICE. It is only a few short months since Mr. Rice lost a son, (Samuel W.) who died on the 10th of Sept. last.

In this village, on the 16th inst., after a severe and protracted illness, MARY LUCINDA, daughter of J. M. and CHLOE FERRIE, age six years and seven months. The deceased was an only daughter. Her cause of death tuberculated conditions of the lungs. Bennington, VT Gazette, please copy.

On the 8th inst., at the residence of her father in Rodman, after an illness of eleven months, CANDACE, daughter of NOAH and MARY MERWIN, age 29 years.
In Pamelia, on the 1st inst., MRS. LAPPON, consort of the late WILLIAM LAPPON, Esq., counselor at law of Herkimer, age 80 years.

Feb. 21st, 1849, in Prairie Precinct, Winnebago Co., Illinois, MARY B., wife of FREEMAN LILLYBRIDGE, in the 27th year of her age. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Annsville, NY and formerly of the Baptist Church in this place.

In this village, on Sunday, 22nd inst., EUGENIA E., only daughter of GEO. & JANE T. SMITH, age 6 years, 10 months.
NOTE: Mr. Clark, who ran the paper, was having financial difficulty. The paper then was reorganized and became the NORTHERN NEW YORK JOURNAL, which was also published in Watertown, NY.
