In Watertown on the 14th ult, HENRIETTA S., daughter of S. G. and DOROTHY ADAMS, and wife of JOHN WARRINGTON, age 28 years. The deceased was afflicted with a disease acquired in infancy.

In this village on Sunday morning inst., of consumption, Miss AMELIA C., daughter of the late AMOS BENEDICT, Esq., age 35.

At Sackets Harbor, on Wednesday morning, the 24th ult., ANNA, infant daughter of ASA R. and MARY ANN FORD, age 12 months.

March 10, 1847, p. 2:

Died: In Champion, on the 4th inst. MRS. ELIZA, wife of JAMES MIX, and daughter of ASHUR WILMOT, Esq., in the 45th year of her age. Survived by husband and children.

At Lowville, of dropsical consumption, on the 28th ult, ABIGAIL, wife of Mr. DANIEL PATTEN, and second daughter of ROBERT HARDY, Esq., of Rutland, age 28 years and 12 days.

Suddenly, of the croup, at Pierrepont Manor, while the parents were there on a visit, CHARLES EMERY, infant son of LUTHER and ELIZABETH BARROWS, of this village, age 6 months.

On the 5th inst., in this village, at the residence of her son, HON. GEORGE C. SHERMAN, MRS. EMMA SHERMAN, widow of the late PINEAS SHERMAN, deceased, age 74 years.

March 24, 1847, p. 4:

At Stowell's Corners, on the 14th inst., by John Baker, Esq., Mr. JOHN HEARD, age 89 years, and Miss POLLY MOORE, age 71.

In Champion, on the 17th inst., by Rev. T. N. Benedict, Mr. ALEXANDER LA CLAIR and Miss MARTHA M., daughter of Mr. G. L. COUGHLAN, all of Champion.

Died:
At his residence, on Point Salubrious, in the town of Lyme, on the morning of the 18th inst., Mr. EBEN SMITH, in the 73d year of his age. Mr. Smith was among the earliest settlers in this town. (short obituary followed). Connecticut and New York City papers will please copy. Also Delaware County papers.

At West Almond, Allegany Co., NY, on the 13th of January last, Mr. JOHN BELL, in the 40th year of his age. He was formerly a resident of Brownville. In 1831 he united with the Presbyterian church in that place and in 1833 was ordained an Elder in the church. In 1839 he transferred his connection to the Presbyterian Church at Dexter, and was chosen an elder in that church at the time of its formation. Soon after, he moved to the place where he died. Two months after his arrival he was seized with inflammatory rheumatism which caused him constant and immense suffering for more than six years.

Suddenly, of scarlet fever at the residence of Mr. Jonathan Hill in Adams, MARY ELIZABETH, eldest daughter of Mr. GEORGE P. and SOPHIA BELL, age 4 years, 9 months and 19 days.

At Lafargeville on the 20th inst., BRAYTON, son of DANIEL and SARAH A. RICHARDSON, age 2 years and 2 months.

In Hounsfield, on the 25th ult., MRS. ESTHER, widow of Mr. AARON BLODGET, deceased, age 70 years.

March 31, 1847, p. 1:

In Copenhagen, on the 25th inst., by Rev. T. N. Benedict, Mr. JOHN VAN SLYKE, and Miss SARAH J. WRIGHT, both of Copenhagen.

Died:
In this village, on the 25th inst., after a short illness, ALVAH SNOW, in the 19th year of his age.

In Lowville, on Monday evening, the 5th inst., by Rev. G. P. Tyler, D. P. MAYHEW, A.M., Principal of Loweville Academy, to Miss SARAH COLLINS, daughter of ELA COLLINS, Esq., all of that place.

At Trinity Church, Watertown, on Tuesday evening, the 6th inst., by Rev. Levi W. Norton, FRANKLIN MOORE, A.M., Associate Principal of Lowville Academy, to Miss HELEN M. JOHNSON, of Watertown.

Died:
In Hounsfield, on the 7th ult., MRS. ORINDA SWIFT, wife of DAVID B. SWIFT, and daughter of ASA HILL of Rodman, in the 42nd year of her age. Her sickness was long and distressing. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Sackets Harbor.

In this village on the 3d inst., of inflammation of the brain, AARON HOOVER, age 26 years.

April 21, 1847, p. 2:

In Rodman, on the 7th inst., by the Rev. David Spear, Mr. HART MASSEY JR., of Watertown, to Miss EMELINE, daughter of the late Mr. JOHN UTLEY, of Rodman.

Died:
At Oxbow, on Tuesday, the 13th inst., of scarlet fever, SOPHIA LOUISE, 3d daughter of ZEBULON H. and CHARLOTTE C. BENTON, age 3 years, 5 months, and 23 days.

Of the croup, in this village, on the 16th inst., ELIZABETH EMMA, youngest daughter of WILLARD and EMMA T. CONKEY, age about 3 years.

April 28, 1847, p. 1:

On the 15th inst., by the Rev. Elder Blount, Mr. RILEY PIERCE, to Miss ANN PUTNAM, both of Clayton.

Died:
At Sackets Harbor, on the 18th inst., SUSAN, only daughter of D. N. BURNHAM, Esq., age four years.

In Chicago, Illinois, April 22d, Capt. SETH OTIS, formerly of this village, age about 65 years.

In this village, on the 4th inst, by the Rev. J. A. Nash, Mr. RUFUS W. HOWLAND, of Rutland, to Miss LUCIA J. DRESSOR, of Watertown.

In this village on Sabbath morning, the 9th inst., by the same, Mr. THOMAS S. GRAVES, of Belleville, to Miss PAMELIA VANEST, of this village.

In Rodman, on the 2d inst., by the Rev. Mr. Spear, LUMAN H. DYER, of this village, to ELIZABTH M. HEATH, of the former place.

Died:
On the ___of January last, at Rome, Ohio, PETER WAKEFIELD, Esq., age 83 years. He served in the war and received a pension. He was a member of the M.E. Church at Rome, Ohio.

At Perkins' Hotel, in this village, on the 6th inst., HELEN M., wife of HENRY AINSWORTH, and daughter of SILAS L. and SARAH KELSEY, of Lyme, Jeff. Co., in the 21st year of her age. She had been sick about six months and came to Watertown some three months since for medical aid, where she remained until her decease.

In Pamelia, on the 7th inst., CLIFFORD JAY, son of WILLIAM and CHARLOTTE E. OSTRANDER, age one year, four months and four days.

In this town, on Monday morning, May 3d, DEA. JOB SAWYER, age 66 years.

In Adams, on the 21st ult., MARY OPHELIA, daughter of SIMEON and G. M. LAMB, in the 3d year of her age.

In this village, on the afternoon of Tuesday, the 18th instant, MARY A., wife of JOHN J. SAFFORD, and daughter of the late COL. ALEXANDER CUMMINGS, U.S.A., age 20 years.

In this village this (Wednesday) afternoon, JOHN F. HUTCHINSON, Esq., attorney and counselor at law, and late postmaster, age about 35 years.

June 2, 1847, p. 1:

June 9, 1847, p. 3:

In this village, on Sabbath evening, the 6th inst, by Rev. J. A. Nash, Mr. ALBERT BROOKER, to Miss ALMIRA SHELY, both of Clayton.

On the 3d inst., by Rev. J. R. Boyd, T. H. CAMP, Esq., to Miss ANN ELIZABETH, daughter of the late H. D. SEWALL, Esq., of this village.

Died:
At his father's residence on the 29th ult, after a short illness, Mr. FRANKLIN WRIGHT, age 21 years. The funeral was attended by a large congregation at the Union Church in Burrville, on Sunday the 30th. He was a son of Mr. SETH WRIGHT of this town. He was the pride of his parents and a fond and devoted brother to his brother and to his sisters.

On Saturday morning, June 4, 1847, at her father's residence in Evans Mils, Jeff. Co., Miss MARY JANE SMITH, age 20, after an illness of six days with inflammation of the lungs.

In Sacketts Harbor, on Thursday morning, the 3d inst., EDSON SEYMOUR, son of N. E. and HELEN D. BACON, age 4 months and 8 days

In Hounsfield on the 18th ult, JANE, daughter of RUSSELL and MARY WEVER, age 15 years.

In this village, on the 6th inst., JENCKS T. PERKINS, in the 19th year of his age.

June 16, 1847, p. 4:

June 30, 1847, p. 1:

Died:
In this village, on the 28th inst., of scarlet fever, MARY ANNETTE, youngest daughter of RUFUS and EVELINE HATCH, age 3 years, 3 months.

In this village, on the 6th inst., of consumption, JENCKES T., third son of NATHANIEL PERKINS of this village, in the 19th?, year of his age.

At Adams Centre, Doct. DAVID DICKERSON, age 61 years, 8 months. He was born at Middletown, CT where he lived with his parents a short time and then moved with them to Newberg. When he was age 16, his parents moved to Fairfield, NY. There he began the study of medicine, which he continued for four years. He obtained his medical degree and moved to Oswego County for about one year and then to Redfield, in the same county for about 20 years. He then moved to Sackets Harbor, where he remained 3 years and then to Adams Center. At Sackets Harbor, he was afflicted with inflammation in his eyes and in the month of March of the present year, he was attacked with scarlet fever. The fever commenced its attacks followed by jaundice.

In this village, on the 10th inst, MRS. BETSEY, wife of JOHN K. RUSSELL, age 22 years.

July 21, 1847, p. 2:

In Brownville, on the 15th inst., by Rev. J. A. Nash, Mr. TIMOTHY B. HATCH, of Hermon, St. Lawrence Co., to MRS. LYDIA H. COOLEY, of Brownville.

July 28, 1847, p. 2:

Died:
In Brownville, on the 5th inst., Miss MARTHA N. SWAYZE, age 28 years.

In Lowville, Lewis Co., on the 6th inst., at the residence of her brother, WM. H. DAVENPORT, ZERVIAH LYDIA, youngest daughter of widow BILLA DAVENPORT, age 15 years and 10 months. In this family there has been much affliction. In 1835, Mrs. Davenport lost her husband, the late Billa Davenport, Esq., one of the first farmers in Lewis County, and since 1838, this widow has buried three daughters and one son.

In Brownville, on the 4th inst, CAPT. WILLIAM COLE, in the 70th year of his age.

August 4, 1847, p. 3:

In Rutland, on the 8th ult, MRS. LUCY ANN, wife of WILLIAM S. CLARK, and daughter of A. TAMBLIN, Esq., age 21 years, 5 months and 8 days.

On Saturday, the 31st inst., LAWRENCE WARD youngest son of JOHN C. and DIANTHA JANE ____, age 2 months and 1 day.

At Clayton, on the 26th ult, after a long and protracted illness, Miss LUCY F. GELLET in the 32nd year of her age.

On Saturday, the 17th ult, ADELAIDE AMELIA, infant daughter of J. C. and MARIA LEPPER, age 8 months.

August 11, 1847, p. 3:

Died:
In Watertown, on the 30th ult., MRS. SUSANNAH SAWYER, relict of the late DEACON THOMAS SAWYER, at the advanced age of 91 years. Rev. D. Spear of Rodman preached the funeral sermon. She was born in Sterling, Mass. In 1756. She was the last survivor of the few who were constituted the first Congregationalist Church of Watertown. She had been a member for more than 70 years.

In Lowville, on the morning of the 7th inst., Miss CANDACE EASTON, eldest daughter of WM L. EASTON, Esq., in the 19th year of her age.

In this village, on the 12th inst, JOHN JAY, youngest son of WOOSTER SHERMAN, age 1 year and 21 days.

In this village, o the 16th inst., ELIZABETH KNOWLTON, youngest daughter of GEO. W. KNOWLTON, in the 13th year of her age.

August 25, 1847, p. 1:

In this village, on the 23d inst., by Rev. James Erwin, Mr. WILLIAM LUKRE of Watertown, to Miss MARY ANN PEARSONS, of Diana.

Died:
At Lewisburgh, Lewis Co., on the 21st, EDGAR, son of D. D. REAMER, Esq., in the 15th year of his age.

In this village of consumption, on Monday evening last, WM. HARRISON COOK, age about 33.

In Brownville, on the 26th ult, by Rev. Wm. H. Hill, Mr. DAVIS BALLARD of LaFargeville, to Miss CYNTHIA, daughter of Mr. ALEXANDER PARKER of Watertown.

In Rutland, on the evening of the 29th ult, by Rev. H. Doane, Mr. JEDEDIAH WINSLOW, teacher in the Jefferson Co. Institute, to Miss JANE TYLER, of the former place.

At the same time and place, by the same, Mr. H. E. MOSELY of Springfield, Mass., to Miss SARAH B., eldest daughter of ALFRED ISHAM, Esq., of Rutland.

Died:
At the residence of his son, GEN. ELA MERRIAM, in Leyden, Lewis Co., while at the tea table, HON. NATHANIEL MERRIAM, age 83 years. Judge M. has been a highly respectable resident of Lewis Co., for about 50 years.

September 15, 1847, p. 2:

Of consumption on the 14th inst, in Watertown, at the residence of her brother, CARLOS HINDS, Miss PHEBE HINDS, age 33.

In this village, on the 14th inst., a daughter of MRS. CUSHMAN, in the 4th year of her age. Note: A major portion of the “died” in this issue was cut out.

October 27, 1847, p. 3:

In Brownville, on the 20th inst., by Rev. J. A. Nash, Mr. FREDERIC MOTT of Watertown, to Miss LAURENTINE GOULD, of Brownville.

On the afternoon of the 25th inst., at the residence of W. Sherman, Esq., by the Rev. L. W. Norton, Mr. RUSSELL GINNS, to Miss ROSETTA BATEMAN, all of this village.

Died:
In this village, on the 16th inst., at the residence of her son, Mr. JOHN D. CROWNER, MRS. ELIZABETH CROWNER, age 89 years.

On the evening of the 13th ult, in Christ Church, Sacketts Harbor, by Rev. Benj. Wright, Mr. SANFORD A. HUDSON to Miss SARAH P., youngest daughter of JOHN M. CANFIELD, Esq., all of Sacketts Harbor.

Died:
At Cape Vincent, on the afternoon of the 19th ult, Mr. JOHN DUVILLARD, a highly respected merchant and gentleman, in the 46th year of his age. Mr. D. was a native of Geneva, Switzerland.
