MRS. ELSIE GRISWOULD of Clayton, Jeff. Co., died in the town of Antwerp, on Feb. 22d, 1863, whither she had gone on a visit to her departed sister's children and grandchildren. For a year previous to her death, her health had indicated a decline, but soon after she arrived at Antwerp, she was taken sick more than usual. Her husband and daughter soon arrived to attend her, while the physician and friends thought her symptoms were not unfavorable; yet, suddenly she departed this life, age 68 years and 5 months. She was born in Saybrook, Conn; her maiden name was ELSIE BUSHNELL. She moved from Saybrook to Fairfield N.Y., and subsequently was married to Mr. JOSEPH GRISWOULD, A.D., 1818. For about 40 years she had been a Congregational church member.

CORNELIA A., eldest daughter of SIDNEY STERNBURGH, late of Antwerp, NY, deceased, and of EMMORANCY C. STERNBURGH, now of Alexandria, died of scrofulous consumption at the residence of E. B. Swan, in Alexandria, NY, March 15th, 1863, age 16 years and 1 month.

FLORA E., only daughter of ICHABOD E. THOMPSON of Watertown, NY, and the late MARY THOMPSON, died of diptheria at the residence of Joseph M. Thompson, in Alexandria, NY, March 8th, 1863, age 8 years and 6 months.

At his residence in North Watertown, on Tuesday, April 14th, of consumption, FRANCIS McEVOY, age 35 years. The funeral will take place on Thursday at 10 o'clock a.m.

April 8th, 1863, at Pompey Centre, Onondaga Co., NY, of an affliction of the brain and lungs, GOERGE AILEDORTH, only son of the Rev. G. M. and HARRIET S. JENKS, formerly of this town, in the 16th year of his age.

At Downer's Grove, IL, March 21, MRS. LUCY DOWNER, age 79 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Also, March 27, Mr. PIERCE DOWNER, husband of the former, age 81 years, 9 months and 1 day. Mrs. Downer was taken suddenly ill on Sunday evening previous, with a violent bilious attack, which terminated on Wednesday. Mr. Downer was taken in the same way on Tuesday and sank rapidly, as if hastening to join his companion, and died on Thursday. They were both buried in one grave on Friday Mr. and Mrs. Downer were formerly residents of Rutland, in this county.

At Plessis, on the 3d inst., after an illness of four days of inflammation, MARY JENNIE JOSEPHINE SUTES, adopted daughter of BENJAMIN and PHEBE H. SUTES, age 11 years and 2 months.

April 16,. 1863, p. 1:

In this village, April 14, JAMES SIMPSON, age 49? years. Funeral on Friday at 2 o'clock, from his late residence on Foster Street.

In Fairfield, Herkimer Co., on the 10th inst., of consumption, HARRISON L. BANKS, of the 34th regiment N.Y. Volunteers, age 22 years, formerly of this town. The remains of the deceased were brought to Watertown for interment.

Died at his residence of consumption, on the 5th May 1863, DANIEL RICHARDSON, Post Master at Lafargeville, NY in the 54th year of his age.

May 11, 1863, p. 2:

Suddenly, on Tuesday, the 5th inst., at her residence, in LeRay, MRS. ELMIRA MARTIN, age 52 years and 11 months.

At Evans Mills, on the 28th of April, at the residence of her adopted son, EVELYN F. CARTER, MRS. CATHARINE L. FARNHAM, age 88 years, 9 months and 15 days.

MRS. MARY M. SWEET, wife of SAMUEL N. SWEET, died of consumption, Tuesday, May 5th, 1863, in the 23d year of her age. Her funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. Mr. Bates of West Camden, from the 5th chapter of Job. Her daughter, ELIZABETH, 3 years old, is forever deprived of a mother's kind care.

May 13, 1863, p. 4:

At her residence in Orleans, March 23d, 1863, MRS. MARY LOUCKS, wife of GEORGE G. LOUCKS, age 75 years, 9 months and 3 days. The deceased was for 2 years previous to her death, so afflicted with dropsey that she was obliged to sit in her chair nearly all the time. She leaves an aged husband and a large family of children and grandchildren to mourn her departure.

At her mother's residence on the 21st inst. Miss EMILY G. WELLS, of consumption, age 31 years. The funeral service will be held at the residence of her mother on Washington Street, at 2 p.m. Saturday.

June 13, 1863, p. 1:

Suddenly, on the night of the 11th inst., at his residence in Brownville, PETER HOWK, in the 61st year of his age. The deceased was well the day previous, worked in a sawmill during the forenoon and in his garden till night, and went to be in his usual good health. About midnight, his wife was awakened by some noise he made, but before she could call assistant he breathed his last. His funeral will be attended at the Methodist Church at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, on Sunday.

June 17, 1863, p. 1:

At Sacket's Harbor, NY on the 15th inst., by the Rev. A. T. Young, Sergeant WM. T. CLARKE, Co. K., 35th Regt. NY Vols, to Miss ANNA BASS of S. Harbor.

In Rodman, June 1st, 1863, of spotted fever, REUBEN A. WHEELER, youngest son of HENRY and LUCRETIA WHEELER, age 11 years, 7, months and 20 days.

June 24, 1863, p. 1:

At Roberts Corners, of diptheria, EMMA G., only daughter of the late CRYUS and JULIA A. HUBBARD, age 14 years, 2 months.

At the residence of his father, MARCUS RICE, Esq., on 23d inst., Master JASON E. RICE, of diptheria, age 18 years, 2 months and 19 days. The funeral will be attended tomorrow at the house of Marcus Rice, at 12 o'clock p.m.
