In Antwerp on the morning of the 2nd inst., JOHN R. STERLING, Esq., age 65 years. Mr. Sterling was the third son of DANIEL and MARY STERLING, who emigrated to this town in 1805 and consequently from mere boyhood, experienced all the perils and hardships incident to a pioneer life.

_____PADDOCK of Great Bend on March 27th, MRS. DIANNA BENTLY, age 91 years. She was born in the town of Dorset, Bennington Co., VT. At the age of sixteen she was married to JOSEPH PADDOCK Esq., by whom she had 14 children, 7 of whom died in infancy. In 1804, she with her husband and children settled in the town of Champion. In 1828 she buried her first husband and in 1836 married Capt. WILLIAM BENTLY with whom she lived 15 years. He is buried in the Bentley Family Cemetery but there is no headstone for Dianna.

Note: only parts of this notice are readable. Her probable first husband was Joseph Paddock who died in 1828 at 56 years, 11 months, 8 days in Champion, born in Dutchess Co. in 1771. Her maiden name may have been Basley and she was born 5 September 1776.
