On the 7th instant, FRANCES GRACE, daughter of the late JOHN CLARK, Esq., and wife of GEORGE W. KNOWLTON, Jr., age 27 years and 9 months.

At the residence of Franklin L. Dodge, in Mexico, Oswego Co., of heart disease, MRS. WALLACE HADCOCK. Mr. and Mrs. Hadcock were married on the 31st of December last at Rodman and had been on a bridal tour and were returning. At Mexico, Mrs. H. was taken ill. A physician was sent for and she was pronounced better and her husband. Left her with friends and returned to his home in Rodman. Mrs. H. grew rapidly worse; her husband was sent for but she died before his return.

His funeral was attended on the 5th inst., at his late residence by a large concourse of friends and neighbors; the sermon was by Rev. Mr. Stewart of Watertown. Paragraph followed the notice.

While caring for a younger sister, who was thought to be near her end, Mrs. W. was taken ill, and in a few days she was brought to the grave. She left a husband and four children to mourn her.

Mrs. Gillett was born in Berlin, Renseler Co., October 15th 1798 and married at Warren, Herkimer Co. 27 February 1816. In August of the same year she joined a camp meeting in Rodman. Members of the Masonic fraternity, informally, to escort his remains to the depot, from whence they will be taken to Fairfield for interment.
