July 19, 1866, p. 2:

At the residence of the bride's father, in Greenwich, Washington Co., NY, on Tuesday, July 10th 1866, by Rev. M. Soule, ROMAYNE FREEMAN of Watertown, NY to Miss AMANDIE EDDY of the former place.

January 10, 1867, p. 4:

In this village, Dec. 24th, by Rev. T. Babcock, D.D., Mr. JAMES P. LIVERMORE, of Hounsfield, and Miss MARY ANN HESLOP of Watertown.

The same day and place by the same, Mr. SAMUEL BOULTON and Miss LUCY SCROXTON both of Hounsfield, NY.

In this village, Dec. 26th, by the same, Mr. SMITH ALLEN and Miss SARAH M. SERGEANT, both of Sandy Creek, NY.

At the residence of the bride's father, Jan. 1, 1867, by the Rev. B. A. Garfield, Mr. CHARLES F. LEWIS of Adams Centre, to Miss EMMA KNIGHT of Hounsfield.

At Ogdensburgh, on the 5th inst., Hon. JOHN FINE. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

September 3, 1868, p. 4:

At the residence of the bride's father, on the 1st inst., by the Rev. J. F. Dayan, Mr. WM. G. GALLE, of Cayuga Co., NY, to Miss ADDIE E. SIGOURNEY, daughter of JAMES M. SIGOURNEY, Esq., of Watertown, NY.

At Richland, August 30th, of typhoid fever, MRS. SIMON AUGER, age 37 years. She was sister of the Messrs. Hanchett of our village.

In Toledo, Ohio, the 27th of August, of brain fever, GEORGE T., only child of GEORGE W. & LAURA B. WAGER of Brooklyn, formerly of Brownville. The remains were brought to Brownville for burial.

September 22, 1870, p. 7:

At the house of the bride's father, Sept. 15th, by the Rev. F. S. Freeman, Mr. LOREN M. PARKER and Miss SARAH S. MERREL, all of Alexandria.

In Rutland, on the 18th inst., Mr. JONATHAN AINSWORTH, age 97 years, 8 months and 4 days.

In Lorraine, Jeff. Co., NY, Aug. 21st, 1870, of consumption, MRS. THANKFUL S. CORBIN.

In Burrville, Sept. 10th, FAY, infant son of CHAS. E. and L. E. JONES, age 3 months and 10 days.

In this city, Sunday, Sept. 11th, CHARLIE B., infant son of JOHN H. and LIBBIE N. ARCHER, age 10 months and 23 days.

In Clayton, NY, Sept. 15, 1870, of scarlet fever, JOHN ANDREW SHELL, son of JEREMIAH and JANE B. SHELL, age 4 years, ten months and 25 days.

September 29, 1870, p. 6:

In Philadelphia, NY, on the 23rd inst., Mr. SAMUEL WHITING, age 75 years and 4 months.

October 6, 1870, p. 5:

In Brownville, on the 11th ult, MRS. HANNAH CONKLIN, age 89 years.

Of typhoid fever, after 14 days illness, on the 16th ult, in Weymouth, Mass., JANE ALDRICH, wife of LEONARD ALDRICH, formerly of Rutland, Jeff. Co., NY, age 34 years.

In Adams, on the 1st inst., MRS. CATHARINE, widow of the late ARTEMUS BATES, age 85 years.

At Evans Mills on the 4th inst., of heart disease, Mr. ADAM HELMER, age 58 years, 8 months and 20 days.

In Cape Vincent, on the 30th ult, McCLELLAN, son of MATHEW and LAURA ROMANG, age 6 years, 1 month and 21 days.

October 13, 1870, p. 1:

On the 5th inst., in LeRay, by Rev. P. Swift, Mr. NORMAN GARLOCK of Orleans County, to miss SARAH LANCHESTER of LeRay, Jeff. Co.

At South Rutland, Sept. 8th, 1870, MERTIE S. OAKES, age 11 months and 2 days.

Also, on the 12th inst. GERTIE M. OAKES, age 11 months and 6 days. Daughters of HENRY D. and EMILY A. OAKES.

In Hounsfield, Aug. 23d, WILLIE H., only son of HARVEY C. and ORIMEL BARTON, age 5 months and 16 days.

At Cape Vincent, on the 6th inst., of consumption, MRS. SUSAN BRANCH TOWNSEND, native of Weymouth, Eng., wife of A. V. TOWNSEND, age 63 years. Oswego papers please copy.

October 20, 1870, p. 2:

At St. John's Church, Cape Vincent, on Thursday, October 13th, by the Rev. John Blair Linn, Rector, assisted by the Rev. N. F. Whiting, WILLIAM L. TINKER of NY, to ELLA H., daughter of G. A. AINSWORTH, Esq., of Cape Vincent.

On the 12th inst., by Rev. J. H. Stewart, DAVID T. WALDO to NORA O. SMITH, both of Rutland.

In Hartford, CT, Sept. 27th, LEE, youngest son of R. S. and MARY A. LAWRENCE, age 13 years.

In Pamelia, on the 26th ult, ELIZABETH MILLS, relict of the late ANSEL MILLS, age 76 years, 9 months and 15 days.

In this city, on the 15th inst., Mr. JAMES CANNON, age 32 years.

October 27, 1870, p. 5:

At the residence of Alfred Fox, Esq., in DePauville on the 24th inst., by Rev. J. H. Lamb, Mr. JAMES C. LEE to Miss NELLIE A. FOX both of DePauville.

In this city, at the American Hotel, on the 24th inst., by Rev. Harvey Hersey, Mr. JACOB WAITBERGER of Antwerp, to Miss ANNICE CROMWELL of Brockville, Canada.

November 3, 1870, p. 6:

Married: In this city, on the 1st inst., by the Rev. Dr. Babcock, Mr. WILLIAM SINGLETON and Miss MARTHA M. SHANNON, both of this city.

In the city of NY, on the 27th ult, LOUIS L. ANGEL, age 38 years, son of GEN. W. H. ANGEL formerly of this city. The remains were brought to this city and interred in Brookside Cemetery.

November 10, 1870, p. 3:

At Depauville, Oct. 23d, 1870, by Rev. Allen, Mr. ABRAM HORNING to Miss LAURA SHEPARD.

At Lyme, April 14th, 1870, MRS. POLLY ANN, wife of ABRAM HORNING, age 40 years.

November 17, 1870, p. 1:

At the house of the bride's father, on the 10th inst., by Rev. J. H. Stewart, Mr. JEROME SISCHO to Miss ANNA B. JOHNSON, both of South Champion.

On the 9th inst., at the residence of the bride in Hounsfield, by Rev. Henry Hickox, Mr. GILES TREMAIN of Henderson to MRS. JANE A. STOKES.

At the residence of his son-in-law, in Pine Island, Minnesota, on the 16th ult, Mr. ORA GOULD age 81 years. He was formerly of Pamelia, Jeff. Co.

In San Francisco, Oct. 31st, of inflammation of the lungs, EDWARD S., only son of S. R. and ANNA E. BRIGGS, age 3 years.

In Evans Mills, Nov. 3d, LITTLE FRANKIE E., only child of the widowed mother, MARY MERRIMAN, died of typhoid fever, age 9 years and 3 months.

At St. Louis, MO. On the 30th ult., BRAYTON J. GILBERT age 25 years.

At the residence of her son, CAPT. JOHN MINER in Mannville, on the 6th inst., CATHARINE, widow of the late JOHN MINER, in the 90th year of her age.

November 24, 1870, p. 7:

At the home of Esq. Gurnee, in Omar, on the 15th inst., by Rev. P. Switt, of Little Falls, Mr. EUGENE FOX of Clayton, to Miss ACRA GURNEE of Omar.

Near Grenell, Iowa, on the 1st inst., MRS. AUGUSTA BARRETT, wife of STILLMAN BARRET and daughter of HENRY and JULIA ALEXANDER, formerly of this county, age 20 years and 20 days.

December 1, 1870, p. 7:

At the residence of the bride's father, Mr. C. BORT, Orleans, NY, by Rev. O. D. S. Marcey, Mr. WM. LAWYER of NY City to Miss MARY BORT, and Mr. LUCIAN SNOW of New Haven, NY to Miss MARTHA BORT.

December 8, 1870, p. 2:

At the house of Joseph Vock in Clayton, on the 24th ult, by Rev. O. D. S. Marcley, Mr. HENRY KISSEL to Miss ELIZABETH MICHEL.

At the residence of M. W. Luther, East Watertown, on the 6th inst., ALDRICH LUTHER age 75 years, Funeral at the residence on Friday at 11 a.m.

December 15, 1870, p. 2:

In this city, on the 8th inst., by Rev. T. Babcock, Mr. ERVIN L. HARRIS and Miss SOPHRONIA B., daughter of GEORGE HITCHCOCK, all of this city.

In Pamelia, on the 3d inst., of whooping cough, MINNIE EVA, infant daughter of CLARK and MIRA A. VAN AMBER.

December 29, 1870, p. 1:

In this city on Christmas Eve, by the Rev. Dr. Babcock, Mr. GEO M. SHEPPARD and Miss KATE E., daughter of L. H. AINSWORTH, Esq., all of Watertown.

At the First Presbyterian Church in Oswego, on Thursday, Dec. 8th, by Rev. Dr. Condit, assisted by Rev. James A. Worden, Mr. WARREN D. SMITH and Miss SARAH COOPERA, all of that city.
