The funeral of the late HENRY H. HALL took place at Ogdensburgh on Saturday afternoon of last week. The remains were followed to the grave by a large concourse of citizens, estimated as high as three thousand. The funeral services of the Episcopal Church were performed at St. John's Church, after which the Masonic order escorted the remains to the grave, where the last sacred rites of that order were conducted in the usual impressive manner.

At Sackets Harbor, March 4th, 1872, THOMAS S. HALL, Esq., in the 76th year of his age. He was born at Allynwick, in England. He with two brothers, came to Sackets Harbor in the year 1819, where he resided up to the time of his death. He was engaged extensively in the shipping business. He served as Collector of the Port under President Pierce. He was twice married and raised a family of eight children. One of whom met with a tragical death at Utica, a few weeks since by being accidentally shot by Mrs. McCarry, which sad affair undoubtedly hastened his journey to the grave, where his Masonic brethren carried him, dropping the sprig of acacia into the tomb.
