1.  MICHAEL TISSERAND was born in Alsace Lorraine about 1780.  He came to the 
United States about 1830 and settled in the Town of Alexandria, near Redwood 
in the vicinity of Butterfield Lake.  Upon his arrival in this country, 
he anglicized his surname to Weaver.

He married

CATHERINE (---).  They had several children, but the only known one is their 
daughter, Catherine, also born in Alsace Lorraine 12 Aug 1824.
