On 19 July 1845, GUSTAVUS BLODGET of Watertown, petitioned to open probate and stated that had appointed him and CALEB BLODGET as executors.

Named his son, GUSTAVUS BLODGET. Mentioned land in Rutland deeded to him by Warren Spaulding. Named his son, CHESTER C. BLODGET. Named his daughter MELINDA SPICER, gave her land deeded to him by Elisha Camp. Named his daughter, EMILY HOWARD, land in Watertown known as the Skells Farm. Bequest to School District No. 9 in Hounsfield, five acres of land known as the Ducher Lot, deeded to him by Elisha Camp. Named AARON BLODGET the second, son of CALEB T. BLODGET.
