Named his daughter, ELECTA BASSETT and HANNAH BASSETT. Named his son, ABEL BASSETT JR. Will dated 20 April 1841. /s/ Abel Bassett

NOTE: Abel Bassett was born in Connecticut on 29 Feb. 1759 and died 27 Nov. 1842. Cemetery location unknown. He was a Revolutionary War veteran. Wife was Hannah Chapin. See Fonda List of Jefferson Co. for details of this family.
