WILL OF ANN HOOKER

Sacketts Harbor, Jefferson Co., NY



In the matter of the estate of ANN HOOKER of Sacketts Harbor, Jefferson Co., NY:

On 12 April 1841, SAMUEL F. HOOKER presented his petition to open probate on the estate; he stated that Ann had lately deceased and had left a will naming him executor of the will.

Heirs/next of kin:
SAMUEL F. HOOKER of Hounsfield, a brother of the deceased
HARRY HOOKER of Hounsfield, a brother of the deceased
MARY GRENWALD of Herkimer, Herkimer Co., NY, a sister of the deceased

WILL OF ANN HOOKER

ANN HOOKER named her brother, SAMUEL F. HOOKER, in trust for his four children. Named her brother, HARRY HOOKER. Named the four children of Samuel F. Hooker: SAMUEL T. HOOKER, SIDNEY D. HOOKER, JAMES LEWIS HOOKER and MARTHA ANN HOOKER, as tenants in common. Appointed SAMUEL F. HOOKER and JASON PHELPS as executors. Will dated: 30 July 1832. /s/ Ann Hooker.
Witnesses: I. H. BRONSON of Watertown, NY and GEORGE CAMP of Sacketts Harbor, NY

CODICIL TO THE WILL OF ANN HOOKER:

On 21 May 1840 in the presence of ISAACK H. BRONSON and GEORGE CAMP, she named brother Samuel F. Hooker as trustee and executor. He had the right of distribution to his children as parental control. Codicil date: 21 May 1840. /s/ Ann Hooker
