NOTE: Asa Cooley was born 28 Jan. 1774 in Connecticut; in the 1850 census of Rodman, he is listed with Egbert and Caroline Cooley. Egbert was the son of Loren Cooley, b 25 June 1828. Findagrave: Ora Cooley b 1797, dec. 4 Nov. 1858 at Rodman. His wife was Amanda Greenley. Loring Cooley died 23 July 1863 at 70y4m6d in Rodma His wife was Charlotte Bullock. Elam Cooley was b 24 July 1809 and died 22 Nov. 1880; his wife was Juliette Bullock. Lura Cooley, died 4 Feb. 1875 at 76 years and Ichabod Palmer died 1 April 1866 at 69 years. Laura Cooley was the first wife of James Ingalls, b 4 Aug. 1791 in Pillar Point, Jeff. Co., NY. DOM: 4 April 1814 in Rodman. After her death he married 2)Hannah Sweet. Asa Cooley married Sarah Pratt in Somers, Tolland Co., CT on 12 Feb. 1795. Son of Thomas Cooley, b 1741 of Somers and Elizabeth Wood. Thomas was a Revolutionary War soldier.
