On 14 September 1844, THEOPHILIS PEUGNET of Lyme, on behalf of OLIVER BEDARD, petitioned to open probate on the estate, and further, Esther had made a will.
Heirs/next of kin: JOSEPHINE BEDARD, wife of OLIVER BEDARD, the petitioner, of Lyme EMILY LUNDRY of Clayton, Jefferson Co. ESTHER JUAIN, wife of JOHN JUAIN, of Kingston, Canada West
WILL OF ESTHER LA PERCHE
ESTHER LA PERCHE, wife of the late PETER LA PERCHE, called ST. JOHN, deceased of Lyme, named OLIVER BEDARD, husband of her youngest daughter, JOSEPHINE, all of her real property that belonged to her in Lower Canada. She also left her personal estate to Oliver Bedard. Will dated 23 January 1838. /s/ Esther X La Perche (her mark)
