On 12 June 1848, PHILANDER J. WELCH of Brownville petitioned to open probate as executor.

Henry W. Eddy and Philinda Eddy are minors, having no general guardian in the state.
DANIEL LEE of Watertown is general guardian of CORDELIA COMMINS, also a minor.

WILL OF HENRY WELCH

HENRY WELCH named his daughter, ABIGAIL HUNGERFORD, wife of HENRY HUNGERFORD. Named his two sons: GEORGE and HENRY. Named his son, PHILANDER. Named his grandchild, PHILINDA EDDY when 21 years. Named his grandson, HENRY EDDY when 21. Named his granddaughter, CORDELIA COMINS when 21. Charged his two sons, George and Henry and his daughter Abigail to sustain and support his wife, NABBY, during her life. Named again his three children: GEORGE, HENRY and ABIGAIL. Appointed his son, PHILANDER WELCH, as executor.
Will dated 29 November 1845. /s/ Henry Welch.
Witnesses: JOHN DUNLAP of Watertown.
Will proved 12 July 1848.
