In the matter of the estate of HITTY GOODELL of Adams, Jeff. Co., NY: On 17 June 1856, DYER N. BURNHAM of Cottup Hill, DuPage Co., ILL, petitioned to open probate.
HITTY GOODELL named WILLYS GOODELL of Connecticut, brother of her deceased husband. She named RICHARD GOODELL BURNHAM, son of DYER N. BURNHAM, now of Sackets Harbor, when 21 years. Appointed his father, DYER N. BURNHAM, as trustee and guardian of her estate for the said R. GOODELL BURNHAM, during his minority and authorized DYER N. BURNHAM as trustee and executor. Will dated 19 October 1846.

Whereas her property had increased in value and since making of her will, she had received by way of the estate of PATTY TUBBS between eleven and twelve hundred dollars, she gave MARGARET TUBBS and ONSSA TUBBS who resided with her, additional money. She left a grant to the First Methodist Episcopal Society of Adams. Codicil dated 14 May 1856.
