WILL OF HORACE FINCH
HORACE FINCH mentioned a note bearing date of 13 October 1837 with interest signed Potter and Sloan being JOHN POTTER and DANIEL D. SLOAN, merchants of Evans Mills. And given for the sum of four hundred dollars on demand. One note of $170 dated 23 March 1837 on interest executed by CICERO POTTER, merchant of Great Bend in LeRay, due in one year from the date thereof. Two notes executed by HORACE HENRY of Carthage dated 7 Aug. 1837. One given for $40 with interest. A note executed by NORTON BASSETT and JAMES T. BASSETT formerly of Martinsburgh, Lewis Co. All of the said total of $685 to his friend, WILLIAM PALMER, merchant of Evans Mills. William Palmer named sole executor. Named his brother MARTIN FINCH. Named his brother APPOLLOS FINCH. Named his sister, LAMENTA BENJAMIN during the life of her husband, THOMAS BENJAMIN. Will dated 3 January 1838. /s/ Horace Finch
