In the matter of the estate of JOHN ISHAM of Rutland, Jefferson Co., NY:
WILLIAM Y. ISHAM of Rodman, brother of the deceased, petitioned to open probate on the estate and stated that John Isham had died on the 27th day of September 1850, from the effects of a fall from a precipice near the road from Tylerville to Rodman and had died intestate. Petition dated 28 October 1850.

WILLIAM Y. ISHAM, brother, and petitioner
DANIEL T. ISHAM of Wilbraham, Hampden Co.,Massachusetts, brothers of the deceased
MARY JANE BURT
WILLIAM L. BURT
SARAH ANN BURT
CATHARINE M. BURT, all children of a deceased sister, MARY, residing in Ithaca, Tompkins Co., NY, and that Sarah Ann and Catherine M. were minors having no general guardian
MARY ISHAM, mother of the deceased residing in Wilbraham, MA
When the Letters of Admin. were requested, William Isham stated that WILLIAM L. BURT was the husband surviving of the said sister, Mary, now deceased, and wanted to have him as an administrator.
