On 17 January 1848, ALONZO JENISON of Hounsfield, petitioned to open probate and stated that John had appointed him as executor of the will.

JOHN JENISON named his daughter, ADALINE and gave her the looking glass with guilt fame and a black laventine silk cloak which had been her mother's cloak. Named his son, ALONZO JENISON. Appointed Alonzo as executor of the will. Will dated 17 March 1847. /s/ John Jenison
