On 31 August 1844, ANSON MORRIS of Watertown filed his petitioned to open probate , with ELIZABETH MORRIS, as executors.

JOHN MORRIS named LOUSIA LUCY and ANN MORRIS, daughters of his son, STEPHEN MORRIS, deceased. Named the Treasurer of American Home Missionary Society of New York and the American Board of Commissioners of Foreign Missions of Boston. Named his son, ANSON MORRIS and ELIZABETH, his wife. Named his grandson JOHN MORRIS, son of ANSON and ELIZABETH MORRIS. Named his granddaughter, JANE MORRIS, daughter of son, Anson and his wife. Named son, ANSON MORRIS as executor and ELIZABETH MORRIS, his wife as executors of the will. Will dated 28 March 1844. /s/ John Morris
