On 13 August 1840, JOSEPH C. MUZZY and ELEANOR MUZZY, his wife of Champion, Jefferson Co. petitioned to open probate and stated that Joseph Graham, late of Wilna, had deceased and left a will.

JOSEPH GRAHAM, residing in Niagara in Upper Canada, Joseph's son

JOSEPH GRAHAM named his daughter, ELEANOR MUZZY. Entrusted bonds, mortgages and moneys to JOHN S. GOLDOMED, and WILSON PENNOCK, to be invested and the annual interest to ELEANOR MUZZY during her lifetime. The principal to his two granddaughters, LORNA MARIAH HARTLEY and DOLLY ANN MUZZY.
