No widow survived the deceased.
LIBERTY BATES named his daughter, KATHARINE W. POND, wife of CHARLES B. POND. Rest of estate to be divided to all of his children equally. Requested to be buried between his son, OTIS AMMEDON BATES and his own beloved wife, MARY, in the Ellis Village Graveyard. Appointed CHARLES B. POND as sole executor. Will dated 21 May 1852.
