WILL OF NATHAN PARISH
NATHAN PARISH on 16 November 1835, named his wife, REBECCA. When HENRY STRONG PARISH comes of age, he will receive 16 cows, which was for a watch that was given to HENRY S. PARISH when he was a babe. Named NATHAN, his oldest son, to receive $5 in case there be any such law that said he could break the will. Will dated: 16 Nov. 1835. /s/ Nathan Parish Witnesses: WALTER BECKER of Sackett's Harbor and AMANDA SHERWIN. Will proved: 31 March 1836.

NOTE: Nathan Parish in 1810 census at Brownville with 1-2-0-1-3-0-0-1-0; 1 male under 10; 2 white males under 16; 1 white males under 45; 3 white males over 45; 1 female under 26. Records of Jefferson Co. indicate he settled by 1799. Parish Genealogy states he was born 14 May 1774 at Livingston Manor in Sullivan, NY and died 5 Nov. 1835 at Brownville. Married 1 Jan. 1798 at Granville, Washington Co., NY to REBECCA RHODES, b 14 Oct. 1774 at Danbury, Dutchess Co NY and died 5 Sept. 1858 at Bountiful, Davis, Utah.
