On 2 February 1841, HARMAN STRONG of Rodman petitioned to open probate and stated that Nathan had recently deceased and left a will, and he was one of the executors with HENRY C. STRONG.

Official notes were sent to: EUNICE STRONG, HENRY C. STRONG, PHEBE BABBIT, CHARLES STRONG, JEREMIAH GRISWOLD and EUNICE GRISWOLD, his wife, HARMON STRONG, EMILY O. RUNDALL, CAROLINE C. RUNDALL and ORIN H. RUNDALL father and special guardian of the infants.

NATHAN STRONG named his wife, EUNICE. Named eldest son, HENRY C. STRONG and his heirs to receive the mills on Sandy Creek. Named his son, HARMON STRONG and his heirs. Named his son, CHARLES STRONG and his heirs. Gave the brick yard to his son, H. C. STRONG and HARMON STRONG and their heirs. Named sons: H. C. STRONG and HARMAN STRONG balance of the estate with the condition that they give money to the children of his daughters, PHEBE BABBIT and SOPHIA RUNDALL. Gave daughter, PHEBE BABBIT and her heirs his dwelling house. Named his daughter, EUNICE GRISWOLD. Appointed his sons, Henry C. Strong and Harman Strong as sole executors.
