In the matter of the estate of NATHAN TAGGART of Ellisburgh, Jefferson Co., NY: On 13 February 1854, MARCUS TAGGART of Ellisburg, petitioned to open probate.

Heirs/next of kin:

CHARLOTTE WITHINGTON, wife of WILLIAM WITHINGTON, of full age
JAMES TAGGART, a minor of Adams
CHARLES TAGGART of Ellisburgh, a minor with no general guardian
SUSAN TAGGART of Ellisburgh, of full age, widow of the deceased.

WILL OF NATHAN TAGGART

NATHAN TAGGART named his wife, SUSAN. Named his eldest son, CHARLES, when 21 years. Named his second son, JAMES, when 21 years. Committed the guardianship of his two sons until they reach 21, to his brother, MARCUS TAGGART. Appointed SUSAN TAGGART as executrix and MARCUS TAGGART as executor. Will dated: 20 January 1854.
