On 25 November 1843, ROBERT ELLIS and NICHOLAS CRISMAN 2nd, petitioned to open probate on the estate. They stated that JACOB MYERS and MARGARET CRISMAN were executors.

PATRICK CRISMAN of Minden, Montgomery Co., NY
MARGARET STILWELL and JOHN STILWELL of Chautauqua Co., NY, residence cannot be ascertained
JOHN WIDRICK, of Frankfort, Herkimer Co., NY
GEORGE WEAVER of State of Illinois, residence unknown
MARIA AUSTIN and EZEKIEL AUSTIN
GEORGE G. CRISMAN, the residence of all last mentioned persons cannot be determined
Minors having no general guardian: FRANCIS WIDRICK, CLARISSA WIDRICK, WILLIAM WEAVER 2nd, ADAM WEAVER, SOPHRONIA WEAVER, MARY WEAVER, PETER WEAVER. And the following persons who are not minors:

PETER CRISMAN named his wife, MARGARET CRISMAN. He gave her land deeded to him by WILLIAM T. FISK and BETSEY, his wife. Named his nephew, PETER F. CRISMAN and gave him land which was deed to ROBERT ELLIS and PETER CRISMAN. Named Robert Ellis and his wife, MARY, as having deeded him another lot on 2 March 1840. He appointed Margaret as executrix with his nephew, JACOB MYERS, of Herkimer, as executor, and also ROBERT ELLIS and NICHOLAS CRISMAN 2nd. Will dated: 1 June 1853. /s/ Peter X Chrisman (his mark)

Written 27 October 1843: After the decease of his wife, he gave to his nephew, NELSON CRISMAN land that was part of Lot No. 90. Gave to his nephew, Nelson Crisman a span of three year old colts on the farm. He gave to his nephew, NICOLAS CRISMAN 2nd, son of GEORGE CRISMAN. Named his nephew PETER F.
