In the matter of the estate of ROSWELL ROCKWOOD of Champion, Jefferson Co., NY:

On the 28 day of January 1843, SALLY ROCKWOOD of Lowville, Lewis Co., NY, petitioned to open the estate for probate and that she was the executrix of the will.

SALLY ROCKWOOD, executrix and widow of the deceased Roswell Rockwood
JOHN O. ROCKWOOD
SARAH M. ROCKWOOD
LURANSY A. ROCKWOOD
GEORGE A. ROCKWOOD, minors with no general guardian, residing in Lowville, Lewis Co., NY

WILL OF ROSWELL ROCKWOOD

ROSWELL ROCKWOOD of Champion, named his wife, SALLY, for support of the family until GEORGE, his youngest son and child, became of age. If any property remained, then his widow was to divide it amongst the heirs at her discretion. He appointed wife, Sally, as executrix. Will dated 13 July 1838. /s/ Roswell Rockwood
