In the matter of the estate of THOMAS YATES of Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY:
THOMAS C. CHITTENDEN of Watertown, a creditor of Thomas Yates, petitioned to open the estate for probate on 3 March 1852. He stated that Thomas had deceased sometime in the month of October 1850, in the Town of Northampton, Fulton Co., NY, and had died a natural death with a disease called consumption. He did not leave a will. At the time of his death, Thomas was on his return from the seashore where he had been for his health. He left his property mostly in Watertown, Jefferson Co., and owed Chittenden $20.

HENRY GATES of Smithville, Jefferson Co.
DAVID A. YATES of the city and state of Mississippi
SARAH YATES of Rodman, Jefferson Co., a minor having no general guardian in the state.

They being the brothers and sister of the deceased, who left no widow or children, father or mother.
