In the matter of the estate of WAITSTILL CRUMB of Orleans, Jefferson Co., NY:
On 17 January 1843, WILLIAM ROUSE of Clayton and AMY CRUMB of Orleans, petitioned to open the estate for probate and both were executors of the will.
Heirs/next of kin:
AMY CRUMB, widow of Waitstill Crumb, deceased
OLIVIA ROUSE, wife of ALONZO ROUSE or Orleans
WAITSTILL CRUMB, minors having no general guardian and residing in Orleans, NY
WILL OF WAITSTILL CRUMB
WAITSTILL CRUMB wanted his son, WAITSTILL CRUMB to have one third of all that was left of the estate after settling the debts and wife, AMY CRUMB, to get one-third in her lifetime and the other third to be divided equally between his three daughters, not named. Named WILLIAM ROUSE and AMY CRUMB as executors. Will dated: 3 June 1842. /s/ Waitstill Crumb
