On 29 January 1851, WILLIAM COOPER of LeRay petitioned to open probate, with RANY COOPER and ALEXANDER COOPER as executors.

VICTOR COOPER of LeRay
EDWARD COOPER of Theresa
ANGELICA BECKER, wife of HIRAM BECKER of Antwerp, all of full age
Children and heirs of MARGARET FAYEL, deceased, late wife of JOHN FAYEL and daughter of deceased William Cooper, viz:
JOSEPH FAYEL of Theresa
JOHN FAYEL of Watertown, NY, all of full age
SOPHIA SPALSBURY, wife of RICHARD SPALSBURY of Theresa
EDWARD FAYEL of Alexandria, both minors under 21 years and having no general guardian in the state.
WILL OF WILLIAM COOPER
WILLIAM COOPER made his will at age 71. He named his wife, but not by name, to receive her full legal right of dower. He named his daughter, MARGERITTE, widow of JOHN FAYEL. Named his daughter, ANGELICA, wife of HIRAM BECKER. Named his son, EDWARD COOPER. Named his son, WILLIAM COOPER, JR. Named his sons, RANA COOPER, ALEXANDER COOPER and VICTOR COOPER. Named his four sons: WILLIAM COOPER, JR., RANA COOPER, ALEXANDER COOPER and VICTOR COOPER. He appointed his three sons: WILLIAM COOPER, JR., RANA COOPER and ALEXANDER COOPER as executors of the will. Will dated 6 October 1849. /s/ Wm. Cooper
