On 9 May 1850, CYRENA HOWLAND by her agent CYRENUS CONVERSE, petitioned to open probate but CYRENA HOWLAND was sole executrix.

BETSEY HOWLAND of Ellisburgh
JOHN HOWLAND of Bridgewater, Oneida Co., NY
ALPHE HOWLAND of Barry, Orleans Co., NY
CATHARINE HOWE, widow of GEORGE HOWE, deceased, somewhere in the state of Michigan.

WILLIAM W. HOWLAND named his wife, CYRENA, and named her executrix of the will. Will dated 13 April 1850. /s/ W. Howland
Witnesses: SAMUEL HACKLEY and CYRENUS CONVERSE both of Ellisburgh, NY.
