On 13 March 1851, JACOB OSTRANDER of Theresa petitioned to open probate with DAVID D. OTIS and GEORGE MORRIS OSTRANDER as executors.

MARTHA ELVIRA OSTRANDER
CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH OSTRANDER, all of Pamelia, NY and all minors having no general guardian.

WILLIAM OSTRANDER named his two sons: GEORGE MORRIS OSTRANDER and WILLIAM OSTRANDER. He named his three daughters: ALMIRA SOPHIA OSTRANDER and MARTHA ELVIRA OSTRANDER and CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH OSTRANDER. Appointed DAVID D. OTIS a merchant of Watertown and JACOB OSTRANDER, his brother of Theresa, NY, and his eldest son, GEORGE MORRIS OSTRANDER as executors. Will dated 13 February 1841. /s/ Wm. Ostrander
