1. RICHARD WOOLAVER was born in New York state about 1800. On the 1825 state census he was in Ellisburg with unnamed wife and no children. On the 1830 federal census he and his wife have a daughter over 10, one between 5 and 10 and two sons under 5. We believe that his first wife died and he married SALLY LINDSEY before 1830. On the 1840 census STEPHEN LINDSEY was living with them. About 1844 Richard and his family moved to Dundee, Kane county, Illinois. They lived there until about 1862 when they moved to Morristown, Rice County, Minnesota. Richard died in 1885. We think that Nancy and the later children are Sally's.
He married ?before 1830
SALLY LINDSEY, daughter of STEPHEN LINDSEY and widow of JAMES
MCNITT. She died December l, 1883.
