JACOB BAUM died on 12 Nov 1854 in Pamelia[?], Jefferson County, NY, and is buried in Chaufty's Cem., Town of Theresa. There is a cemetery marker indicating he is a War of 1812 veteran, but no pension file or military records have been located for him yet.

BARBARA (---) In some sources his wife is listed as Barbara BAUM, but it is
not clear if this is her maiden or married surname, since her parents are not
mentioned. Barbara (---) was born about Mar 1779 in NY. She died on 24 Apr
1860 in Jefferson Co., NY and is buried with her husband in Chaufty's Cem.,
Town of Theresa.

4. MARY BAUM (daughter of JACOB & BARBARA (---) BAUM) was born on 30 Oct 1798. MARY and her children settled in the Town of Brownville in 1839, following the death of her husband, JOHN. She died in Brownville, NY and is buried in Dexter cemetery. Bible records give the date of her death as 8 Mar 1882 or 8 Mar 1884, but gravestone and burial records give the year as 1885. The discrepancies are unresolved.
She married on 4 Aug 1816 in Manheim, Herkimer, NY.
JOHN J. TIMMERMAN (son of JACOB H. TIMMERMAN and ELIZABETH
TIMMERMAN/ZIMMERMAN). JOHN J. TIMMERMAN was born on 3 Dec
1798 in Town of Manheim, Herkimer, NY. Died on 5 Aug 1835 or 5 Aug 1837
(sources differ) in Town of Manheim, Herkimer, NY and is buried there in the
Snell's Bush Reformed Church cemetery.

7. EPHRAIM J. BAUM (son of JACOB & BARBARA (---) BAUM) was born 1815 in NYS, probably Herkimer Co. He was of Leray, Jefferson Co., NY when his father's will was probated in 1855. He died at Colona, Henry Co. IL in 1880, and is buried there with his wife.

ELIZABETH TIMMERMAN, daughter of FREDERICK & MARY/Polly
(KLOCK) TIMMERMAN. She was born in the Town of Manheim, Herkimer
Co. NY, 10 Mar 1820 and died at Colona, Henry Co. IL 18 Dec 1902
