1. JULIUS CHAPMAN, son of LEVI and BETSY (MASON) CHAPMAN was born 1825 Parishville, St. Lawrence Co. NY. He died After 1880 in Ohio. He was listed as son in letter from Levi's grandson Dr. Eugene Chapman dated 1909. He appeared on the blacksmith census in 1860 in Henderson, Jefferson Co. as Julius, 34, with Amanda, 34, Alice, 6; Eva, 5; Flora, 3.

Military: 11 Aug 1862, St. Lawrence Co., New York, he enlisted in the 106th Infantry, Co. G (Captain Jesse Cogswell)

He appeared on the census in 1870 in Wellington, Lorain, Ohio, United States with Flora, 13; Rolon, 9; and Minnie, 2. He appeared on the census in 1880 in West Richfield, Summit, Ohio as Julius with Amanda, Rollon, F. Minnie.

He appeared on the census in 1900 in Richfield, Summit Ohio as ROLON, wife LYDIA J., in 1920 in Richfield, and he appeared on the census in 1930 in Richfield, Summit, Ohio, United States. living with married daughter, Carol A. Harn
